WebOS developer mode

I am owner of HP Palm Pre2. I am also sad because of all that story with the end of touchPad. IMHO all that staff is really good comparing to iphone or android. Really cool. One bad issue is how it is unavailable to people. Globalization bla bla bla. I have got pre2 only because I am HP’s employee, however in my country I have no access to application store.
It’s obvious for many people that if any webos hardware would be more known and wanted first of all should be more opened around the world.
Thank’s to preware there is a small hole in that wall. Many tweaks or opensource applications can be installed from preware.
To remember, below short description how to do it:
– download preware package
– turn on developer mode, by writing “just type” magic word “up up down down left right left right ba start” without spaces
– connect webos hardware to PC (not as USB drive)
– install package
– better reload phone or whatever it is
– now you can tweak your hardware or get many free apps

It is good advice to turn off developer mode always when not needed.
